Travel With Me: Los Angeles in the Winter
There’s no better way to escape the Seattle winter than a trip South! My cousin Devin and I went to LA for a long weekend and spent three days eating, sightseeing and laughing. We stayed in an AirBnB in Beverly Hills and started off the trip with manicures at Olive & June. Since it was 70 and sunny, I decided to go with a hot pink despite it being the middle of Winter.
We then had brunch at the Cabana Cafe at The Beverly Hills Hotel where I enjoyed an acai bowl and iced coffee. It was so fun seeing people swimming and enjoying the sun!
After food, we made some stops around Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, and Melrose. Not only is there great (window) shopping, it’s also great people watching.
That night, we went to SUR for dinner - yes we’re huge Vanderpump fans!

On our second day, we hiked Runyon Canyon, went to the Melrose Trading Post and then drove out to Malibu for lunch. One of my favorite spots there is Malibu Farm (I love their cookbook at home!) where we enjoyed salads and a gorgeous dip spread. As the sun went down, we headed to Malibu Cafe at Calamigos Ranch for a glass of wine. My ideal day, if you ask me!
On our last morning, we headed to Abbott Kinney for brunch at The Butcher’s Daughter, walked the Venice canals and then headed to the beach for our last few hours. What are your favorite spots in LA? Leave me a comment below!
