Coachella 2017

I had the most amazing time dancing, singing, playing dress up and hanging out with great friends at Coachella this year! Four of us flew into LAX on Thursday morning where we rented a convertible through Turo. We met up with friends for lunch in Marina del Rey before hitting the road to Palm Springs!

We rented an AirBnB in Palm Springs which had a beautiful pool and interior. All of my logistics recommendations for Coachella can be found in my Coachella Guide. The first necessary stop in town was In-n-Out, followed by Costco so we could stock up on breakfast & lunch food and of course beer!

Our mornings were spent floating in the pool, then we'd get ready for the festival in the early afternoon and head in around 3 or 4. By going in later in the day, you avoid the heat of the sun, making it more enjoyable.

Below are recaps of each day and my outfits!

Day 1

First day of Coachella! There is always so much to explore on the first day. The grounds are massive, so it's fun to explore all of the art installations, food vendors and get a sense of the layout. Having been before, I knew somewhat where things were, but day one is definitely fun since everything's new!

I wore a grey low back tank with a white bralette, black shorts, black hat and Ray Ban aviators.

Favorites were Kungs, Glass Animals, Oh Wonder and the XX.

Day 2

We went in a bit later on the second day, but it was probably my favorite! We went to back to back great shows and danced so much! We took a ride on the ferris wheel which had incredible views of the polo fields. So many people!

I wore a blue romper from Nordstrom with a western vintage purse and Steve Madden sunglasses. I was and am obsessed with this festival look!

Favorites from day two were Tycho, Moderat, DJ Snake, Lady Gaga.

Day 3

By the third day you have your routine going - you know how to get into the festival, where things are, and who you want to see. Day three for me is about doing everything you still need to check out. For example, we explored more of the food options and some of the art installations we hadn't yet seen.

I wore a pink, floral sundress from Nordstrom, converse, a vintage Coach purse and my Ray Bans.

Favorites were Tourist, Porter Robinson & Madeon, Hans Zimmer, Justice.

Coachella 2017 was such an amazing weekend! I'm so fortunate to have been able to go with my boyfriend and great friends! We had the best time, and I can't wait to hopefully go back!

Have you been to Coachella before? Comment below with what you love doing there!

Cheers,

Kelsey
